iControlU is a popular Minecraft trolling plugin that aims to add mind control to your server. With just one simple command, players are able to take control over other online players. Currently, iControlU supports controlling movements, chats, inventories, commands, health, hunger, and damage, with more options coming all the time.
When the plugin is in use, iControlU enables real-time player override. In other words, the Controller is capable of modifying the Victim (that is, the “control-ee”) without any delay or glitches. Controllers can override Victims’ chat messages, modify the Victim’s inventory, run commands on the Victim’s behalf, take damage, and more. Plus, because iControlU utilizes ProtocolLib, movement overrides look seamless and authentic to other players.
-Using iControlU-
iControlU was designed to be easy to install, and even easier to use. To install the plugin, simply drag it into your server’s “/plugins” folder, along with the latest applicable version of ProtocolLib. Start (or restart) your server to generate the configuration file, and make any changes to it that you’d like. Simply use “/icu reload” to use the new settings.
To use the plugin, simply run the command /icu control <player>. Alternatively, you may run /icu control <playerA> [playerB], which will force playerA to control playerB. This command will enable Control Mode, in which the Controller begins playing as the Victim. Control Mode will last until the Controller runs /icu stop, or when the time expires (default 30 seconds, you may change this in the configuration).
Upon leaving Control Mode, the Controller is given 10 seconds of invisibility to make a hasty escape. This feature is intended to keep the Controller anonymous.
Commands
You may add each permission node individually, or use the parent nodes as shown below.
By default, iControlU comes with built-in crafting recipes for items that affect the plugin’s effects. The Victim’s item, the Reduction Helmet, provides a 70% chance of control failure. In other words, 70% of the time, while wearing this helmet the Victim cannot be controlled.
The second item, this time for the Controller, is the Amplifying Helmet, which doubles the amount of time Control Mode lasts. This helmet only has an effect if iControlU is configured with a time limit.
