Tested Minecraft Versions: 1.11
TEST SERVER: Techmods.de:25568
(Default Config except weapons only require level 1)
General
Accuracy:
The accuracy of each weapon is different and consist of 4 accuracy values.
- Running (Sprinting)
- Sneaking / Scoping
- Idle (Standing Still for min. 1.5 secs)
- Moving (Cursor movement & slow walking)
Always one accuracy gets picked in a certain priority.
Recoil:
The recoil is the spray movement that goes up. The weapons have different recoil variables so on some weapons its hard and on other weapons there is no recoil.
Recoil on spraying bullets.
No recoil when leaving delay between shots.
The recoil can be adjusted with these parameters:
Code (Text):
# Recoil = (When you shoot multiple times the spray goes up)
# Note: If you want to disable recoil, put all values to 0!
# y = shotsFired * recoilMultiplier
recoilMultiplier: 1.5
# The amount of seconds WITHOUT shooting after the recoil will reset.
recoilReset: 0.5
# the maximum recoil is the limitation how much it can go up. I suggest to leave or lower this value
recoilMax: 0.45
Damage:
The body is split in three parts (head, body(chest), legs). Each weapon has these 3 damage values that will be applied. On a headshot the headshot sound (defined from the Configuration.yml) will be played. On other parts the standard hit sound will be played.
Configure your own Weapons
This video shows you how to create your own Weapons
The weapons are located in the /weapons directory. You can edit these weapons or create your own weapons from scratch.
This is how these weapon files look like:
Standard Weapon File (Shooting Weapon):Standard Weapon File (Knife):
Each weapon has an item model assigned. For example for the ak-47 its this part:
Code (Text):
# Which item model should be used? Select or add an item model to the (Textures) folder
texture: ak47.json
These item models are usually .json files and you can store them in the /textures directory. Some weapons may require some images that you can store in /textures/Images.
The sound files are usually .ogg files so you may convert your sounds first to ogg. These are stored in /textures/Sounds But you don't need to add more sounds because the plugin already comes with 300 csgo weapon sounds. Each weapon has an equipSound that gets played once you hold your weapon in your hand.
All shooting weapons have a list of reload sounds that get played in a row on reload. Also they have a shotSound list. On every shot one random file will be played.
Code (Text):
# Shot sounds. Add your own sounds to the (Textures/Sounds) folder if you want.
# On each shot one random value will get picked.
shotSound:
- ak47_01.ogg
# The reloading sounds will be played in this order.
reloadSound:
- ak47_clipout.ogg
- ak47_clipin.ogg
- ak47_boltpull.ogg
Default files and folders:
This is the structure that will be created. All the files you see here come with the plugin.
Infection:
One player is a zombie and the rest are survivors. If a survivors dies he will be respawned as an zombie. The survivors have the goal to defend themselves from the zombies, and the zombies need to kill all survivors before the time runs out.
Team Death Match:
Simple team vs team until the time runs out. The team with the most kills wins.
One in the Chamber:
Everyone has a specified amount of lives on the start alongside one pistol with one shot. The pistol deals a one hit. (Default). If a player dies he will lose a live and if he has no lives he is out. Last man standing wins.
Free for all:
Everyone vs Everyone until someone score a specified amount of kills.
Arms Race:
Everyone vs Everyone, on each kill you will receive a better weapon. Once you surpassed all weapons, you win.
Standard Main Configuration Files: (I will add more options in the future)
I recommend you to use a clean server with 1.11.
1. Stop your server (if it is started)
2. Put your waiting lobby map in the server directory with the name "world".
3. Put Counter Craft in the plugins folder.
4. Start the server and you will see a configuration assistant when you join
5. Set the lobby spawn point with the tool in your hotbar.
6. Put the game maps in the /plugins/CounterCraft/WorldToImport directory.
7. In Minecraft just open the Maps Menu and click on the map to setup the spawns.
8. You are done. Click on the item in the last hotbar slot to exit the configuration assistant.
