CustomParticleEffects allows you to create your own effects, rather than using pre-defined boring effects (which you could create if you wanted).

Everything about the particles is configurable, the colour, how far they move, which type of particle and the way they’re spawned. This is all done within a user-friendly GUI.

  • 1.8, 1.7 & 1.6 Compatible
  • Create your own Particle Effects – Add many particles into each effect with many things you can change about each particle
  • Many Spawn Types (Feet, Halo, etc. Look below for more)
  • Effects stay after logout
  • Players can have multiple effects enabled (If they have the permission)
  • GUIs to select / edit Particle Effects
  • Cooldowns (Combat, Movement) that will delay particle spawning (configurable)
  • Performance Friendly
  • Configurable messages, settings and GUIs
  • Cauldron Support

These are the types of ways in which you can select particles to spawn.
Please note that the particles used in these are only examples, and you can change the particles to anything you would like (Aswell as stacking as many particles inside an effect as you like).

Another thing to note is that the speeds of the animated effects can be changed. They can also be made so that they will be not be animated and just a static particle effect like Halo. You can see this in the config.yml below.

Animated effects could challenge your servers performance. To solve this I would reccomand going into the config.yml and disabling them from being animated, purchase a better CPU for your server or make the animated ones more exclusive.

You can add your own aliases in the config.yml, but here are the default command aliases:
  • /Particle
  • /P
  • /ParticleEffect
  • /PE

The particle variables are what you can change about each individual Particle inside a Particle Effect (you can have as many particles as you wish inside a particle - there's pages in the GUI when they're needed!)
  • Type: The Particle Type. Such as Redstone Dust
  • Spawn Type: The Type of spawn. This allows you to select: Halo, Head and Body
  • Amount: The amount of each particle to be spawned on each spawn
  • Color (If it's colorable)
  • X, Y, Z and Speed. X, Y, Z dictate how the particle spreads itself and Speed dictates how fast it does so. (If it's colorable, these pieces of data are overriden)
Now, some particles (SPELL_MOB, SPELL_MOB_AMBIENT, NOTE, REDSTONE) have colors. So these have a selectable color that you can choose from instead of X,Y,Z / Speed.

  • particleeffect.multipleparticles - Allows a player to select multiple particles in the '/PE' menu, however they will only be able to select as many as the config.yml allows (there's a maximum amount of having multiple particles value)
Want the permission of a Particle Effect?
Do: /PE Permisison <Effect Name> and it will tell you the permission of it, which you can assign to players so they can activate that effect.
