Friends is the BEST way to get players on and keep them on. Players are rewarded for playing with their friends. According to a survey we conducted, 46% of players joined my server because of a friend. 46% also joined my server because of server lists. So many servers try to make their server lists better, but very few server focus on getting players by word of mouth.
How it works?
Players can add friends with a set max amount. Every X minutes they will get a reward if their friend(s) are online. They can remove friends, but this can have a timer to avoid player's from friending online people, and it encourages people to keep their buddies online.
Rewards
There are two main kinds of rewards: Cumulative and Fixed.
Cumulative rewards give players more rewards the longer they are online with friend(s). Fixed rewards give a fixed reward regardless of how long you have been online.
This isn't it. Under Fixed and Cumulative there are settings for multiple or final rewards. This basically means rewards can be setup for PER friend or if you have AT LEAST one friend online.
The rewards are commands which are run by console which enables you to implement ANY kind of reward.
