Linux Firewall
We have good Layer/Netty rules by profesionals of networking, if u turn on the Linux rules (IPtables), will apply the most efficient rules that may be will make the Proxy handle best attacks.

IPSet (IPTables)
If you enable it, will blacklist malice TCP connections (It's the best form to do it) due CPU will not even leak (This mode it's only for Kernal based due IPTables addon).

TCP Fast Open
We backport Spigot mode on the AntiBot, to detect SYN packets on faster way, handle fastly connections (Mode 3 it's recommended)

AntiBot (Filter)
We have a lot of type of checks, most eficients are Blacklist (IPset) but u will need Linux that's not really a problem, due we have Filter/4 Captcha modes to avoid any type of bots/proxies.
Even we have a Algorithm to close malicious conections without Linux to Shared users.
Also, fixing/improving Waterfall base to avoid exploits without adding nothing.

Optimization (BungeeCord)
Do u care about your performance on large networks?
That's not really a problem because we have a efficient system & we take care to improve BungeeCord proxy reducing ur system usage, like disabling some useless packets that are not handled by the proxy instance.
Also, we spent a lot of time on updating BungeeCord's api (2013) to actual apis, we broked a lot of things but we did it! We can claim our product as Modern proxy.
