WorldEditSelectionVisualizer (WESV) has been originally created by rojet601. Since this user's gone inactive since November 2015 and the plug-in contains some errors, I decided to release a 1.8.8-forward-compatible version with those errors fixed.

Overview
WorldEditSelectionVisualizer (WESV) is essentially the famous WorldEditCUI mod in the form of a bukkit plugin, which means that players don't need to install anything on their client.
Features
Detailed documentation about the available permissions and configuration options is available on the documentation page (as well as copied in the spoiler below for archival purposes). Other than that, there's a JavaDoc documentation available on the project's GitHub Page, should you feel the urge to hack in and try to use WESV in your own way.
ProtocolLib
This plugin has optional support for ProtocolLib (Jenkins build #74+). If you want to see particles from distances > 16, you need to have it installed and enabled in the configuration (see Documentation).

Credits and Metrics
This plugin uses darkblade12's ParticleEffect library to spawn the particles. It also anonymously collects statistics via MCStats Plugin Metrics. You can read about the data that is being collected here. You can see the statistics here. To opt-out of MCStats statistics sending, please change the value of opt-out from false to true in file Plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml.
As of 5 March 2017 (version 1.4.5), BStats are being used in addition to MCStats code. This is due to prolonged unavailability of the original MCStats site. You can see the new statistics here. To opt-out of BStats statistics sending, please change the value of enabled from true to falsein file Plugins/bStats/config.yml.
