The FGM-148 is a portable, shoulder launcher, anti-tank weapon. It tracks its target using infrared, then flies up to a certain height, before coming down from the top of the target and detonating. It is a fire and forget weapon, meaning once the missile has been launched, the operator does not need to do anything else for it to function.
