Thinking that you have already enabled the home page for xenporta, follow these steps,

head over to http://example.com/admin.php?ewrporta/blocks.
Example.com being your server address

then go into RecentNews and you will see this:

make your News Source Forums the forum you want the posts to be seen

now save that and head to: http://example.com/admin.php?ewrporta/layouts/portal/edit
