Allow quick create thread on all pages

Hi
Has anyone found a way to add a quick thread form on pages other than forum pages?

As the form action needs to be directed to a specific forum,
we were thinking of a sequence of:
1) Write a post
2) Choose forum from dropdown select menu (the action gets updated at this stage)
3) Write title+prefixes

I know it may seem a bit backwards,
but our board has many many different forums and choosing the specific forum from the forum_post_thread_chooser is quite tedious,
so we are looking for...
