1.17 is now supported!

Confirmed on 17th of July 2021. Latest build still works with 1.17.x

If you want versions 1.8-1.12 please go to the versions history tab and download an older version of the plugin (1.7.1 or below)! The commands are different but the video below showcases them. There is also this document which explains things in more detail:
