 | Here are my thoughts: The way leaf litter generates currently is way too overpowering IMO, it doesn’t look quite right. I know that mojang were going for that realistic forest look with leaf litter covered floors, but I feel like they ended up only halfway there. In real life, grass isn’t visible underneath the lead litter, and greenery is generally sparse and grows around it. However, in minecraft we’re left with an unnatural blend of grass and leaf litter, which ultimately creates an eyesore. What would fit the game better is a sparser, patchier generation of leaf litter, shown in the second image. This would strike a great balance between realism and good looking aesthetics.
