Attachments freezing page

I have a media heavy forum, lots of attachments on some threads. I notice that sometimes when a page loads that has lots of attachments the site will freeze and not fully load. It takes a few minutes to refresh and it’ll be fully loaded. However on other browsers the site will fully load while on one browser won’t load. The website is not crashed or frozen for other users while this issue happens. So I’m unsure if it’s a server issue? Any insight?
