I just checked- and upgrades are still being automatically applied.
Someone purchased and received a rank 24 minutes ago, and it was applied to their account no problem.
I searched within the transaction history, to see if I could find your rank purchase, and the payment shows up as "Failed". I believe your card may have been declined when you attempted to purchase the rank, or maybe you failed to follow through with all the purchase prompts.
Either way, if you check your balance, you likely have not been charged for any rank purchase.
Please try purchasing again.
