Can you get banned for afking mob minions in your island?

So as far as i undesrtand you can't get banned for afking goblins in the dwarven mines, so if you use the same setup to instead afk mob minions in your island can you get banned for doing that?
I had the understanding that any afk method that wasn't possible in vanilla and gave you any progress was banneable but goblins does all of that and it's not banneable so i'm kinda confused now.
