Carnival's replayability

Yes the event is cool and all and I love catch a fish specially but I have over 400 Carnival tickets gotten from various activities which can be barely used because:

1. You get to spend them 5 by 5.
2. I already maxed the shop.

The shop is not that hard to max if played a bunch of games and then boom the carnival renders useless for the players who already maxed the shop which I'm sure the amount is quite high.
