Clear Inventory Glitch

Ok so i'm having this glitch on my server where when players log off and log back on, there inventories sometimes get wiped. I have a feeling it might have something to do with this permission node: griefdefender.flag.interact-inventory but idk. Anyone know what could be causing this? I use plugins like essentials, multiverse inventories and griefdefender.
