Disappointment in Minecraft Live

I was really excited to see all the new changes & new adaptations being added to Minecraft. However, this recent live has been very short and disappointing in terms of length as well as adding new content for players. Just wondering; do you find the new live/update underwhelming considering we only get one live a year?

edit: I've been made aware that we're now getting two lives a year so I revoke the criticism. Thanks.
