Dumb thing to do in the hub

Yesterday I discovered that you can:

1. Go to the top/side of the mountain
2. Fire a^ bonzo's staff in the right place at the village *
3. Go to the village using /hub
4. Wait
5. Get knocked into your island

^ One will suffice, two is excessive, ten is annoying, a hundred is laggy
* The right place is a few blocks above the portal

What's the purpose of this? I don't know myself but it's interesting
