Experimentation table tips

Looking for tips for the experimentation table.
I've looked online and found somewhat good answers but i'm not 100% sure on them. From what i've learned you can get more clicks by drinking the serum and doing 12 patterns on the side experiment things. Could someone please explain to me about those things and maybe give me some other tips? my main focus is getting t6 or t7 enchants (i dropped a t7 enchant today and i got more curious)
