Given the changing climate of MC PVP, should hypixel adapt and make some 1.9 PVP specific games to appeal to more players?

YouTubers such as Intel Edits have switched over to 1.9 based PVP now that 1.8.9 is just becoming more mundane and the skill gap between a seasoned player and a new player is too wide. Given this, is this an appropriate time to appeal to 1.9 based PVPers on the MC scene and make some fun minigames that are exclusive to 1.9 and up? What are your thoughts?
