got scammed out a dyed strong dragon chestplate and cant report him

I was loitering and chilling with my cousin when this dude comes up to me and asks for my chest plate. I've always had it and I was feeling nice so I gave it to him. He didn't clarify why, and didn't tell me it was super rare. It was apparently dyed purple. He took me to my private island and by the time I realized he scammed me, he blocked me. I couldn't even report him because the messages were sent too long ago.

What's the next step? I don't want this to go unpunished.
