Okay, purely subjective opinion on diorite: I f**king love it. The block itself is mid alone, but when used as an outliner for bases, it becomes WAY more useful, especially with pale oak and birch. When used alone, though, it can still look really nice. I don't understand why people hate it. Sure, there's quartz, but it just doesn't look as appealing when used for bases. If I had the quartz and cobblestone, I would very much rather craft diorite than quartz.
