How do you decrease ping with the cloudflare warp?

I'm an EU player trying to get back into Hypixel. Without the cloudflare warp, the server is basically unplayable, with me getting thousands of ping. Lunar says that I get about 190-200 ping with the warp, but it feels like a lot more. Players teleport quite frequently, projectiles come out with a big delay and the hitreg is really bad, although it's better than before. I've tried 1.1.1.1 with and without the warp, and without decreases my ping by 50 or so, yet it's hardly noticeable. Is it...
