How good are sheep minions nowdays?

Are sheep minions as good or similar to pre-nerf slime minions? Does something like a T12 infused sheep minion with magma buckets, Berberis, corrupted soil and an enchanted hopper work?
Should I do enchanted hoppers or sell to bazaar or maybe not even at all? I can't find any other consistent minion that doesn't cost billions to setup.
