How to counter players standing inside t5 vampire slayer totem?

Since they stand in the perfect middle, I can't destroy the totem, and end up dying because of someone else. It happened to me around 5 times in 320 t5s, by people with terrible profiles just to be cringe and funny. Is there any way to counter that?
