I feel bad for cheating in my survival world

I know this post is kinda stupid but I need help to understand what I should do next. So basically, I died in my singleplayer survival world, but I died in such a dumb way, that the first thing that came to my mind was to enter spectator mode and go to the cave where I died. That’s what I did, I also then switched to creative mode to collect my stuff without dying because there was a lot of mobs there. It was 3 am and I was really tired at that time so I guess thats why I cheated like that without thinking. Now I kinda regret doing that and it feels wrong playing in that world again. I also threw away 2 diamonds from my inventory as a “compensation” but it still feels kind of wrong. In your opinion, how bad was the thing that I did…. Should I leave my family and become a monk to repay for such disgrace?
