I have a theory about the sniffer

So the sniffer is said to be an ancient extinct species that has somehow got dormant eggs in ruins underwater. Well i think that Sniffers aren’t actually from the overworld in the first place, I think sniffers, along with the plants they find are actually ancient nether plants and that sniffers were brought to the overworld by the ancient builders (or whatever) to study them for further uses, my only evidence? The sniffer closely resembles Nylium, and I believe it is a form of camouflage to hide from piglins, hoglins, or something else entirely. But as more ancient builders took notice of them, they died out from the constant hunt, or they evolved to escape predators and became striders, or smth. submitted by /u/Zipes_ [link] [comments]
