 | Greetings, I am currently playing on a 1.21.8 singleplayer survival world, which started way back since 1.20. The world's going strong and I'm on my 989th day so far, and I have plenty of plans ideas to further saturate my world. On day 1000, I was debating if I should do something to celebrate and mark that day even more special. As of now, the world runs semi-manually -- no massive farms like a blaze farm, no usual farms like an iron farm, and only crop farms like sugar cane and block crop farms. At this point in my playthrough, I'm maxed out on gear; full netherite armor and tools, with all the iterations of enchantments you could think of. Right before my 1000th day, I was thinking of fighting the Wither, since I already have all of the materials to do so and make a beacon. Some may ask, why not the Ender Dragon? There's a growing trend that once you fight the Ender Dragon, the game ends up feeling finished. For my personal history, I've started and stopped playthroughs before, and the usual reason is that I did "finish" the game by beating the Ender Dragon. The difference this time is that this is the only world that I've gotten to the point where it has felt like a commitment. Once I have an Elytra, my usual means of transportation become obsolete in most cases -- my beloved horse, my connected railways, and my soul speed integrated roads. There are many benefits to reaching the end, one of the most significant benefits are the Shulker Boxes as I consider myself more of a builder than any other type of Minecraft player.
