If this post is against the rules let me know. I'd like to make a tutorial to show people that WorldPainter isn't complicated and it's quite easy to make stunning and natural looking landscapes with minimal effort. This photo is from a scraped project im in the process of reworking. The tutorial would be a comprehensive beginners guide that would show you how to plan out, shape and refine your terrain as well as create interesting custom biomes with no effort. The map would probably be a 2k map with some mountains as well as cliffs, rivers, valleys and a waterfall. And I'll go over how to texture your terrain using blocks/biomes. When I was first learning WorldPainter I was unable to find tutorials that went over the things I wanted to know and in a way that was simple. I'll more than likely do a slide show type tutorial with a large text body explaining each and every step in a way that's easy to understand. I will also use vanilla tress ONLY to make this as easy as possible. But yeah if enough people are interested please comment and let me know. My goal is to make WorldPainter more accessible and show people it really isn't that hard to make natural and beautiful maps. submitted by /u/Sargon97 [link] [comments] |
