Is crimson still better than superior?

I had done some light digging on armours, and superior dragon stood out to me, yet crimson (My current armour) was barely mentioned in the video, my main gripe with crimson was the speed chilling at 119 and being used to zooming around with SA, it is painfully slow, BUT the damage seems really good, yet the effective health is not great, for me it is at 11.2k while when i calculated the superiors's EHP it was better due to more defence
