is soul eater really necessary on juju? (for normal floors)

With just sa and cata 20 i can already one shot f6 normal mobs, with cata 24 and necron i probably can do it on f7 too. Soul eater 5 is kind of expensive and I would much rather spend it on mining gear or accessories. So is there a reason to get soul eater?
