Is there any way to reassign player data files to a different player with a plugin?

I want to randomly select a player, then randomly select a player data file and assign that player data file to the player who was assigned to it. Then I can work my way through until all players have randomly swapped player files. Is this possible? I’m trying to make a custom paper plugin for this in Kotlin.
