 | I'm sure someone's come across this idea independently but just thought I'd share with the class. I've been using jukeboxes instead of diamonds as a currency on the smp im playing with my friends. Okay, I will agree there are a lot of flaws but I think there's something to it. In each jukebox is a diamond that you can't get back out again, but it's in there. So it's kind of a way of 'minting' a currency. Ngl, turning a stack of diamonds into jukeboxes is a surreal experience. So when other people drink the kool-aid and give into turning their life savings into record players, they put value on the jukebox. A big problem though is that jukeboxes by themselves look ugly. I'm tempted to make a resource pack to turn renamed jukeboxes into: coins, cash, or maybe just diamonds with extra glow. submitted by /u/magicchinchin [link] [comments] |
