Minecraft with 100K+ players in the same world?! We rendered 6K visible units at playable FPS!

While everyone is talking about the Minecraft Movie, we are excited to share something that feels straight out of sci-fi - our Quark Multiplayer Mod for Minecraft, pushing multiplayer limits to:

• 100,000+ concurrent players (CCUs) in one world
• 3,000-4,000 visible units (VCUs) at 50-60 FPS
• 5,000-6,000 VCUs at 20-30 FPS
• All of this with just hundreds of KBs in the bandwith!

Most Minecraft servers struggle with just a few hundred players and rendering more than a fraction of them at once tanks FPS. With Quark Multiplayer Networking Engine we've made huge battles, MMO-scale worlds and persistent multiplayer experiences possible - without needing crazy internet speeds! Here is a video showing it in action!
