Most Unusual Bedwars Strategies

What is your guy's bedwars strategy that you think could be weird, strange, or just downright stupid, but somehow its effective? I like to think that I'm a fairly normal player, so I dont really have any strange strats, except for when I play anything like 3v3v3v3, 4v4v4v4, or 4v4s, I wait for 40 iron, get wool, and get an iron pick, as many beds have endstone early. I dont really see many people waste money on an iron pick that early, but it has helped so many times.
