Old afk farm on dwarven mines

I just remembered this old afk method people use to do on dwarven mines in the goblin borrows where is the campfire i remember people would argue so much over who was there first and now i haven't seen that in a hot minute me personally i didn't do much cause again was highly competitive and i was this new player on dwarven mines so i didn't really had a decent setup to make that afk farm.
Anyway my question is what happened? Like what changed was made to people stop doing it?
