Research phase: Does unlimited Fps make your game better?

Hello, so, I've decided to make a detailed thread about this topic, but for it I need some info. So, the only question I am here to ask is: Do you leave your FPS Uncapped? And if you don't, what do you limit it at? Also, if possible, what is the refreshrate of your monitor and pooling rate of your mouse?

Please take your time to respond. I really need accurate data.
