Should I push for 7/7/7 before start grinding enderman slayer?

Now I have 6/6/5 slayers. Should I push for 7/7/7 before enderman slayer, or should I just stop at 6/6/6?
Also, is the juju shortbow still good? Should I farm for it? I mainly play as a berserker, but I think it would be cool to have a bow just in case!
