Skywars, But no sky?

How would a game-mode be that is basically a battle royale in minecraft? This could be seen as skywars without the sky part. But, I see it as it should be a battle royale type thing. You find stuff in chests, armor, weapons, potions, etc. A barrier slowly closes in on the map forcing everyone to fight eventually. Last player standing wins. Any thoughts?
