Stop strikethrough usernames who leave conversations

Currently when you have a conversation with someone and they have left it will strikethrough their username.

Is it possible to stop this. Perhaps just have add an icon or word (Left) of choice next to their names. We have a greeting DM and it look really bad when they leave and its struck out.
