the catacombs and juju shortbow

ive been looking at guides and stuff for f6 and f7 and a lot say that by then you should have a juju for those floors, but i dont, and im nowhere close to achieving one. am i still just too early in the game to get one, or have those people lied, or have i rushed dungeons, or would i really have no choice and to just do a bunch of t1 enderman slayers to get fd armor and do t2 to eventually get juju? i dont really need it now considering im focusing on mining more, but it would be nice to...
