What's the LEAST "Minecraft-y" update that you'd still want for the game?

a lot of the time, complaints about new updates say that the new features/mobs/blocks/etc don't feel "Minecraft-y", and they clash with the rest of the game. so i ask you now-- what's the LEAST "Minecraft-y" features, mobs, blocks, biomes, structures, etc that you would still enjoy?

personally, i think a (relatively simple) magic/spellcrafting system would be incredibly cool. it wouldn't fit the current game whatsoever and countless mods do exactly what i want (albeit usually with more complicated steps), but i still think that being able to make spell tomes and magic altars in the vanilla game would be fun enough to justify it not "fitting" the game at all.
