Why do 1.8 combat mains complain about modern day Crystal PvP??

Like When I see some random dumb comment I see that they complain about that crystal PvP is a joke and stuff and say that requires no skill and only spam. I don’t hate 1.8 PvP, I actually respect players who play and are good at it, but I do main Crystal. But Crystal PvP takes a lot more skill than people actually realize, you have to learn a lot of mechanics and damage ticks and toteming, good key binds and precise timing and aim as well.
