Why not increase SMP player invite cap and total players?

Why not increase SMP player invite cap and total players on smp servers? i know that hypixel has to be able to support it, i mean they can run 100 person UHC games but only a 10 person smp? thats my biggest complaint it would be huge if they could just up it to 20 people online at once and maybe 40 or 50 total invites! its a lot of work trying to keep an smp alive when you can only invite 20 people, so at the very least i feel like the invite limit should be a lot higher! hypixel please...
