Original author description:
Based on real life F-111 Aardvark, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark was a groundbreaking American aircraft developed in the 1960s. It was designed as a multi-role tactical fighter, capable of long-range bombing, interdiction, and reconnaissance. One of its most notable features was its variable-sweep wings, which could change angle during flight for better performance at different speeds. The F-111 also pioneered the use of terrain-following radar, allowing it to fly fast and low to avoid enemy radar detection.
