The plugin has color settings.
A design template editor (CodeMirror) with a choice of 10 styles is also available.
All of these settings are only changed in the master style, so you need to change to developer mode.

Using XF 2.2 Beta 3 and it does not seem to be working. Neither by changing the preformatted style or trying to change individual colors. Any ideas to try?
