Farming sugarcane with 400 speed fermento boots?

Hi I recently bought fermento boots to replace my rancher boots since according to elite farmers wiki and the farming profit calculator it makes more money. However since my speed is now at 400 without being able to set a speed cap I was wondering how I would farm. Do I continue to farm at 45 degree angle and just do the same thing I've been doing or is there some other special technique
