why ?

Make sure that the files in the document are properly uploaded in your website directory. I have no issues regarding on this add-on. All of my uploaded resources on Blackspigot are tested in my own hands before I'll share it here on this community.

The version listed is 2.2.7, but what actually downloads is 2.2.5.

Unfortunately, I can't get it to install on Xenforo 2.0.9.
