What have I done wrong?
No trees generates in EpicWorldGenerator.

No trees generates in EpicWorldGenerator.

Did you paste the ewgs.zip that was included in the download to your plugins > EpicWorldGenerator > EWGFiles > backend folder? Chances are that's your issue. After pasting the zip file to the backend folder, delete your world and restart the server.

If that doesn't fix your issue, paste any EWG errors that appear on your console to pastebin.com and share the paste here.

I don't think the server could start without ewgs.zip.

It can, it could even generate a custom terrain but there will be no trees or custom structures that are normally included in a terrain generated with EWG.
