How to enjoy Skyblock (pure opinions)

First, change your way of looking at the game.
What do you want to get from Skyblock? Collection? SBLV? If you want those, you would not enjoy Skyblock.
Skyblock used to be peak because players would aim for their own small goals, and not the main path that most take.
Skyblock is a free world, there are lots of things you could do that wouldn't help you progress as the others, but your aim is not progressing, it's to have fun. I found that most players don't find this game...
